A Hyperliquid early adopter transformed a complimentary Genesis Hypurr NFT into a $467,000 sale, marking one of the largest perpetuals trading sector NFT transactions this year. The anonymous trader (wallet 0x7B4...) received the asset through Hyperliquid's community rewards program before selling to a crypto whale.

Hyperliquid's trading volume surged to $12.3 billion monthly since its 2024 mainnet launch, with native HYPR tokens gaining 340% year-to-date. "These NFT valuations reflect concrete belief in the protocol's long-term potential," notes Sarah Chen of Digital Asset Capital Management.
